TAKE A STEP BACK IN TIME...

into one of Salisbury’s historic landmarks, ‘The Salisbury.’  This grand building displays some of the region’s most exquisite details of the Art Deco era.  Built in 1928 as the main central office for Southern Bell Telephone and Telegraph Company, architect P. Thornton Marye designed an extravagant Art Deco building full of detailed carvings and limestone spandrel panels that still remain today.  As this 19,000 sq foot building is transformed into luxurious downtown apartments, all efforts will be made to preserve the abstract curves and geometric patterns the 1920s are renown for.  Come see for yourself!
