A Step Back in Time

Originally built in 1928 by Southern Bell, this beautiful Art Deco building served as the central office for their phone systems and switchboard operators. The same French architect was used to design similar buildings that were built at the same time in Atlanta, Charlotte, Greensboro, and Winston Salem.  As technology improved, Southern Bell needed less space for equipment and sold the building in 1984 to a set of brothers who turned the building into office suites. Purchased from one of the brothers in 2021, the building is being restored into its original grandeur with finishes befitting the 1920’s complete with modern amenities.
